Biography Author Kevin Hansen
Kevin Hansen was born in Boise, Idaho in 1968, the second of four children and grew up in the rural area of Grand View, Idaho, population 360.
Most of his time during the summer months were spent working on his outside jump shot, mowing yards, and eventually working as a beekeeper with his brother in law. Summer nights as a teenager were mostly spent with his best friend doing something that contained listening to Journey, swimming in his friend’s grandparents geothermal swimming pool and washing the Chrysler that would take them on many double dates.
Kevin excelled in basketball, but upon realizing that a career in the NBA was unrealistic, he attended college studying Journalism, with an emphasis in Sportscasting.
Kevin began his first book, The Restoration of Jonah, and about half way through, the origins to The Empty Garden began to come out. 29 Nights of Forever was started in the Fall of 2016 and release in the Spring of 2017.
Kevin is currently writing, A Life Repurposed and The Space between the Notes, with both having a completed date of December 2017. A screenplay titled, Thunderstruck, is in the works, with an anticipated completion date sometime in 2018.
Kevin is the father of 4 children, and spends his free time, hiking, biking and watching as many Los Angeles Dodger games as possible.
